College Bowl Games

Instructions:

• On the "My Picks" page, pick the winner and margin of victory for each game.
• You can view your picks and everyone else's picks on the Results page.
• You can view the standings on the Standings page.

For Example:

Scoring:

• If the winning team is chosen, ten (10) points will be awarded. Plus, an additional point will be added for each point (1) the winning team wins by. But, the most points you can gain is the amount you have the team winning by. If, by chance, the winning team is not picked, a point (1) will be subtracted from your score for each point your team loses by. As before, you can only lose as many points as you have the winning team losing by.
• As a bonus, if you accurately predict the winning team and its margin of victory, you will receive an additional twenty (20) points. If you are 1 point off either way, you will receive an additional ten (10) points. If you are 2 points off either way, you will receive an additional five (5) points.
• As a penalty, if you predict that a team will win by twenty-five (25) or more points and they lose, you will lose an additional twenty-five (25) points.

For Example:

1. If you choose Missouri and they win by seven (7) points, you receive seventeen (17) points plus the additional twenty (20) bonus points for a total of thirty-seven (37) points. If, in the same scenario, Missouri wins by three (3) points, you gain thirteen (13) points. Also, if Missouri wins by ten (10) points, you still only gain seventeen (17) points, because you only picked Missouri to win by seven (7) points.
2. If you choose Missouri and they lose by seven (7) points, you would lose seven (7) points. If, in the same scenario, Missouri loses by three (3) points, you would lose three (3) points. Also, if Missouri loses by ten (10) points, you would only lose seven (7) points, because you only picked Missouri to win by seven (7) points.

Note:

• As you can see, if you pick every game to be a close game, you could come away with a safe score. But, the higher your point spread is, the better your score could be. The higher your risk, the higher your chances of winning might be!
